It’s Go by Bike Month with Trek Mountain Bikes and Road Bikes
The bicycle corporation responsible for the design and manufacture of Trek mountain bikes and road bikes is well known in the cycling world for its advocacy campaigns as much as for the quality models it produces. Now, this month it is supporting some of the biggest cycling advocacy groups in the UK by lending its support to Go by Bike month for the second year running. Participating dealers of Trek mountain bikes and road bikes will be taking part in Go by Bike month, so if you were thinking of buying a Trek mountain bike or road bike, this is the month to do it! With their purchase from the range of Trek mountain bikes or road bikes in the month of June, customers will be offered twelve months’ membership to either the LCC or the CTC. There’s also a free cycling information pack from sustainability group Sustrans. Not only this but dealers will be giving away free helmets with the purchase of Trek mountain bikes or road bikes during the month long campaign.
The Go by Bike campaign was launched for the first time by Trek in June of last year. Its bottom line aim was to encourage people to use cycling as a means of transport and leisure. This year’s campaign aims to do the same whilst offering additional support to existing cyclists. This is why there is also advocacy group membership on offer this year rather than just special offers on Trek Mountain Bikes and road bikes. Trek believes that giving free membership to either the LCC or the CTC will give existing cyclists the support they need as well as giving new cyclists confidence. Because there are huge health, financial and environmental benefits to cycling, any support is always welcome. This all means that this is the month to invest in one from the Trek mountain bikes or road bikes collection.
Introducing the Talon 29er series and the Giant for Women Rainier 29er – new Off-Road Sport
As I’m crossing the street a mountain bike goes flying by on my left. I follow an older couple for a bit and then get back up to my normal speed. I easily catch up to the mountain bike which is doing about 30 km/h. When I pedal my eBike with assist turned on I can easily go 38 km/h without breaking a sweat. I actually have to slow down to follow with.
